UNHOLY GRAVE is a grindcore
band from Nagoya, Japan. They play fast and hectic grindcore/mincecore,
focusing on the use of social and political lyrical themes. They are
also known for their prolific output, releasing many split 7”s. A common
phrase that appears on much of their artwork is “Grindcore Against
Terrorism". UNHOLY GRAVE has recorded at date more than 110 EP´s and obviousvly is necessary from time to time some label decide to make a compilation like this one here entitled "Grind victim". The UNHOLY GRAVE sound was , is and probably will be very crude, raw and quite lo-fi, and this is one of the points of the band.

Quebec City grindcore band formed in 1997 but unnamed until 1998 (first
few jams they used the name "Bean"). Its musical style was, is and I
hope will be only Grindcore. Its tracks use to be short, simple, direct
and ultra fast like old school grindcore bands from the 80s. The band
has recorded at date (2015) 11 long albums and this one entitled is no
doubt one of its best. It was made by two labels ("Profusion Records"
and "Jennifer Grind Records") and also on three formats: CD, LP and Mp3.
LP version is limited 300 hand-numbered copies in total:
First 100 on blue / white splatter vinyl with an "Obsessive Compulsive"
pocket first aid tools box. There exist also 23 vinyl EP's split with
bands such as: Agathocles, Rot, Dahmer, Krush, Fuck The Facts, etc.
but I think this "Obsessive compulsive" is at date their best recording. Enjoy it.

"Paranoid existence" LP is a very good collection of remastered and re-digitalized tracks from "This comp kills fascists" CD/2xLP, split 7" with "The gentle art of chokin",
2005 tour demo CDR, and split 7" with Sloth, so, its complete discography from 2004 to 2009. Its musical style is quite "clean" and "depured", with good studio production and also good technical level, very far from noise-core music or similars. The band make a pure, simple, direct and very short old-school grindcore with perhaps few hardcore touches, in the voice for example, which it doesn't sound gutural at all. About lyriccal themes, they are not different as hardcore or crust bands.

MASTIC SCUM
is an Austrian grindcore band founded in 1992. The band
consists of founding members Harry (guitar), Man (drums) and Maggo
(vocals, since 2008) and Much (bass, since 2005). They used to write
lyrics about social issues, politics, feelings, etc. something like
“mincecore”, but has different musical sources from thrash metal to
crust, punk, etc. They released the following three albums: Zero (1999),
Scar (2002), Mind (2005). They has also released splits with
Agathocles, Rotten Sound, Haemorrhage, C.S.S.O., Senseless, Blockheads,
Mixomatosis, Malignant Tumour and Fleshless. Its debut demo tape and next split ep's, sound quite to orthodox grindcore, but just here in its debut long album "Zero", MASTIC SCUM started to experiment with another musical styles, some ones quite similar (metal, hardcore, etc.) but also with electronic noise, industrial and ambient sounds. If you are searching for grind this album is perfect, but If you want to know how it sound MASTIC SCUM nowadays, you can visit here below in "Other Releases" and to proof its newest influences. Ah, don't forget to listen to its great Dead Kennedys cover "A child and his lawnmower", don't miss friends.

The leaders of Holland's death metal scene, Gorefest built a substantial underground following over the course of the '90s with a powerful, groove-based sound that often paralleled similar innovations by bands like Entombed and Sepultura. Founded by vocalist/bassist Jan-Chris De Koeyer and guitarist Frank Harthoorn in 1989, Gorefest issued their debut album Mindloss in 1991, with a drummer and second guitarist known only as Mark and Alex, respectively. Dissatisfied with the band's level of musicianship, De Koeyer and Harthoorn jettisoned the two and hired on drummer Ed Warby and guitarist Boudewijn Bonebakker. The move paid immediate dividends; signing to Nuclear Blast in 1992, the band issued False, not only a more consistent and technically accomplished record, but also a much more original one. While False slipped through the cracks in some death metal quarters, enough underground aficionados heaped praise on the record to build Gorefest's cult following. Next up was the live album The Eindhoven Insanity, recorded at the Dynamo metal festival in Holland; the proper follow-up, Erase, was released in 1994 and found the band moving subtly toward more traditional forms of metal, partly through its sure sense of groove. That approach crystallized on 1996's Soul Survivor, which combined death metal with the elegant power and accessibility of '70s British metal. With that, Gorefest's association with Nuclear Blast ended, and the band wound up on the German imprint Steamhammer/SPV. Chapter 13 was issued in Europe in 1998, and it continued Gorefest's interest in classic rock; however, just before the end of the year, the band announced its breakup. Chapter 13 was finally released in the U.S. in 2000. With this review, I want to encourage some people to listen to this
album themselves, and not only judge this album by other peoples'
reviews. Maybe you wouldn't like it... fine then, at least you tried and
made up your own opinion. But maybe you'll like it as much as I did and
you will be glad you gave "Chapter 13" a chance... ~ Steve Huey

Finnish grindcore band formed in 1993 in Helsinki, ROTTEN SOUND plays music much in the same vein as grindcore pioneers
Napalm Death, Agathocles or Extreme Noise Terror, lyrically attacking social ills
such as greed, conformity, police brutality and racism. The band has been praised mostly
for its ferocity and relentlessness.

America multiple times, Puerto Rico, Japan and South East Asia, along
with Exhumed, Despise You, Misery Index, Unholy Grave, Phobia and Rotten Sound. One of the hardest working and determined bands in the underground
today, Magrudergrind is primed to kick ass and take names on their
sophomore full-length release. Combining elements of grind, crust, and
thrash, the raw energy and violent emotion contained within the 16
tracks is overpowering.

oscuros, pesados y largos (Theatric Symbolisation of Life), y
D-Beat, Grind, sintetizadores, Doom y Death, principalmente, manteniendo
disco.
A For
calidad. Deserves To Die es un tema parecido a A For Arrogance, con
mucho Crust, aunque algo más potente y metálico. ¿Stenchgrind? Podría
ser... Age of the Mutants es un tema muy Gore, que en algunos casos
recuerda al debut de El Kaso Urkijo. Dear Friends es un tema bastante
experimental, voces modificadas constantemente, sintetizadores, pesado,
Imprescindible
