death metal band from Avesta, Sweden, formerly known as Beyond (1988-1990), since then Interment. The band has recorded until nowadays three albums and some EP's, all of them in the style called as "death'n'roll", so, a mix of death metal with other elements as hard rock, garage rock or punk rock in the vein of Entombed and other bands, besides from Sweden. Interment has make live concerts next to Metal bands as well as grindcore, hardcore and punk bands such as: Extreme Noise Terror, Doom, Blockheads, Infest, etc. This "scent of the buried" is specially recommended for those lovers of nor complicated neither complex death metal, but rather to quite simple, basic and direct music with touches of classic rock'n'roll and punk rock.

The Oakland, CA based grindcore outfit BENÜMB emerged during the mid-1990s with a flurry of releases, the majority of them split singles and EPs recorded in conjunction with acts including: Apartment 213, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Supression and Short Hate Temper. Upon signing to the Relapse label, BENÜMB issued the Gear in the Machine EP in 1997; the full-length Soul of the Martyr followed a year later. Withering Stands of Hope came in 2000. The last release at date was an split next to hardcore band Premonitions Of War (*Review by Jason Ankeny).

Long Island, NY's Vision of Disorder built a large local following with its intense, socially aware blend of hardcore and thrash metal, leading to a contract with the Roadrunner Records-distributed Supersoul label. Guitarists Matt Baumbach and Mike Kennedy formed the band in 1992 with vocalist/lyricist Tim Williams, drummer Brendon Cohen, and bassist Mike Fleischmann. Fleischmann quickly left the band, which performed without a bass player and achieved a measure of local success due to their energetic live shows, at which point Fleischmann returned. Their first break came in 1995, when they had a track featured on the New York's Hardest compilation and released a 7" entitled Still. Their self-titled debut was released in 1996; Imprint followed two years later, and in 1999 the group resurfaced with For Bleeders. In 2002 they disbanded but reunited in 2012 until nowadays, active, touring and recording new songs.

There are a lot of things to like about this album. As a Nasum tribute, you’d be hard-pressed to find an effort better executed than this. And on a very basic level, it’s both very hard and very easy to mess up grindcore. Hard because with such a basic template to work from, any band should be able to take their own voice and make it fit in some cool way. Easy because many bands seem to fail at this. Unrest succeeds, from the riffs, to the vocals, even to the subject matter- there is so much to praise about Grindcore.

They formed in 2003 and put out their first EP, "A perfect world of shit", in 2004 after a demo, in 2003, "Vomiting reflex". They then shared a split album with three french grindcore bands, Disaster, Elysium and Desecrator followed by the album "Bushido codex", in 2006 on Deformeathing Productions. Their latest album, is "Shade Among Shades" on the Destructure label in 2010. In 2010 ukrainean label "DAC Productions" released this album with nineteen songs with a nice artwork plus booklet.

Atreyu is a five-piece metal band from Orange County, California, United States that formed in 1998 and which mix pop, emo and heavy metal. The band consists of vocalist Alex Varkatzas, guitarists Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel, bassist Marc McKnight and drummer and vocalist Brandon Saller. The band was originally named “Retribution” but, when they found out that another band from Hemet, California had been using the name, they changed their name to Atreyu,” after the character from the fantasy movie The Neverending Story (by Michael Ende).

Miss May I is a melodic metalcore band hailing from Troy, Ohio. The band has been around since 2006, playing local shows and steadily gathering a loyal fan base. In 2007, they released their first EP, Vows for a Massacre which contained five songs. 2008 saw the release of their demo EP, Demo 2008. On December 6, 2008, the band posted a blog on their myspace stating that they had signed to Rise Records and soon after released their debut album Apologies Are For The Weak which reached #29 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers. Not long after, then-bassist Josh Gillispie announced his departure from the band, and was replaced by Ryan Neff, formerly of Rose Funeral. On August 17th 2010, they released their second album, Monument. The album received excellent critical reception, and the album was toured extensively. On 20th June 2011, they released a Deluxe version of Monument featuring the original tracks, 3 new ones, a B-Side, music videos, interviews, live performances and more.
