Death Metal band from Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). they started in 1990 and disbanded in 1994. their music was a personal and original death-metal with elements totally different of the rest of the bands such as: melodical guitar riffs, some little electronical touches in drumms and lyrical themes: politics, social issues, human history, anti-war, etc. they have released two demo's called: "Demo # 1" and "Psychophony". Corrupt Soul featured the themes 'Second birth', 'Theophilus broome' and 'Human race' in the "Death Metal Party" Compilation (PSM Music, 1995). Another spanish bands featured are Pulmons Negres, Traste, Human Waste, Obscure, Mortal Mutilation, Karne de Zerdo and Necropsy.
Excellent production work of Xavier Navarro, an spanish Death Metal and Hardcore engineer from Barcelona who used to run Metal Pesad Studios where he worked as producer & sound engineer with spanish underground death metal / hardcore bands like 24 Ideas, Argar, Blazemth, Corrupt Soul, Declivity, Dismal, El Kaso Urkijo, Eroded, Human Waste, Mortal Mutilation, Necropsy, Pulmons Negres or Terminal Disease.
