Tracks: 17
Time:  60 min.
Genre:  electronic
Style:        Rhythmic Noise        Abstract

The first thing that struck me when I came across this record on Bandcamp coincidentally, was the cover art: a stunning and huge black stone monolith. I was curious and started listening. While I was looking for more information on network JOHANNES BÜNEMANN (also: Johannes Buenemann, Kim Köster and other names ): biography, music, youtubes, b-side projects, turntables, etc. It was clear that this was not a newcomer, but a veteran in the world of music. This album has influences of moderate noise and distortions. Also landscapes of ambient and drone. But what surprised me were these rhythms so close to techno, breakbeat and to... why not say? Dance music. Yes, here are some rhythms and is almost danceable, but everything is treated seriously and not mainstream at all. I do not usually listen to techno or dance, but I like some rhythmic noise or techno noise projects. I like definitely JOHANNES BÜNEMANN and this album in particular I think is brilliant, because you can to listen to from rhythmic noise to ambient to space to electronic experimental music. Highly recommended.
