Another noise project from the mother-land Russia, a country with an strong scene about noise, industrial and similar musical styles. In the case of ROSE SOBCHAK we are in front of a typical agressive, powerful and even hurtful harsh noise ultra electronic and without any human trail: no voice, no rhythm, no melody. Only a line full of changes and bad agressive sounds that make a mockery of the old Japanoise legends. Im listening ROSE SOBCHAK and all this extreme noise storm remind me another russian projects such as: Maaaa, .Nyctalops. , Comforter, Ganzer, Natural Obscenity In Sexual Experiments, Tydish or another projects non-russian like the veteran Xome (US), the italians jokers of Fecalove or the also veteran british noise musician: BBBlood. I sincerely believe that the HNW is far less violent and aggressive musically, that the style plays ROSE SOBCHAK, as the HNW always maintains a steady line, unchanged, almost-provoking or drowsiness. In opposite, the harsh noise induce to induces extreme excitement and the unrest. Anway and despite this true "audio-storm", we can distinguish between good and bad and Alex Cheskidov has demonstrated us a lot of times he is a great musician and can to make harsh noise one day and ambient / drone another day. He has played in a lot of b-side projects... in very different styles from harsh noise to musique concrète, free improvisation, sound collage, etc. As always, the label which made this release ("Torga Amun" from the Urals region) has had an special attention to make an artwork very awesome, delicate and original. A very good discharge of noise friends.
