Apart grindcore he started to experiment with noise-core, we mean, with a typical rock band instruments. But after he decided to make electronic noise like the japanese masters (Merzbow, Masonna, etc.) and founded GESTÖRTE NACHBARN. He recorded 14 releases and participated in 8 noise international compilations next to bands like ERIC BOROS, ARMENIA, DECHE-CHARGE, EXTREME HAIR STENCH, OUTERMOST, HERMIT, etc. Apart, he had also another b-side short-lived projects like: Anal Utherogestation, Brutal Defecation, Juan Obeja, Nuclear Noise and more. He was the first spanish electronic harsh noise musician and also the first to founded a label to deal with this kind of stuff: “B-GORE RECORDS”. In 1998 sadly GESTÖRTE NACHBARN disappear and few years later Juan Herreo ("Obeja") decided to leave music scene, label, fanzine, etc.

Lasse has also worked with some of the "legends" such as Merzbow and Aube, and played before Einstürzende Neubauten on his GB-tour. Lasse Marhaug also runs the Pica Disk label. Other b-side short lived projects: Crazy Steigen , Denver Dixon Jr. , Egoproblem , Herb Mullin , Otto von Kleist , Tore Gråvik , Vassbotn , Zonked Scum, etc.

Country: US , Japan, Canada, Spain

Released:  1996

Genre:  electronic

Style:        Harsh Noise

1996 was the most fertil year for GESTÖRTE NACHBARN and from Equador came a purpouse to make an split between three noise musicians: Juan Herrero (Gestörte Nachbarn), Eric Boros (Hermit), Matzyama K. (Cracksteel) and Emil Beaulieau. The idea and the work to release, to promote and to distribute this tape came from Leonardo Sabatto from Quito (Equador), who is still nowadays active with his own noise project ARMENIA and his independent label "Bizarre Audio Arts". The edition was very limited, so nowadays is really difficult to get this recording in physical format, but some musical blogs have kept the audio file during these 20 years. Each project had 15 minutes to show its creativity and G.N. made a track quite blackened and darker than other recordings. The other projects everybody can to listen to them and to judge.

"Nazi black metals fuck off!!"
Year:  1992
Country:  Catalonia  (Spain)
City:  Barcelona
Label:  B-Gore rec.
Format:  cassette
Tracks:  2
Time:  30 min.
Genre:  electronic
Style:      Harsh Noise         Noise-Core

At the begining of the 90s decade several bastards, stupids and bone-heads called theirselves as a "true black metal" started to spread the idea that black metal must to be related with fascism, racism, nazism, etc. The examples such as Burzum, Marduk, Absurd, etc. to denounce this shit borned in Norway two noise spanish projects decided to make this split tape entitled "nazi black-metals fuck off!!". The tape has not much quality, frankly, but is fun and sympathetic and in is full of jokes, manipulated voices, ultra-short tracks, etc. I remember to see the original artwork and it was made with a typical DIY anarcho-punk aesthetics (fanzines, etc.). Not the best noise work, but not bad neither.
